2. PTT Pattaya Tennis Open – February - If you want to plan your trip around catching some world-class tennis action, check for when this takes place. Hosted at the Dusit Thani Hotel, ATP ranked players compete for a quarter-million-dollar prize money.

 

3. Pattaya Marathon – July - Fancy yourself a runner? The Pattaya Marathon attracts participants from all over the world as entrants compete in a full marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon or wheelchair marathon. The streets are lined with spectators cheering on the competitors – the atmosphere is fantastic and not to be missed.

4. Chonburi Buffalo Races – October - Pattaya is a city in the Chonburi Province and one of the most popular events in this area is the Buffalo Races. Locals from all over the country gather to honor the water buffalos at this time of the year while the races are an incredible spectacle to behold.

 

5. King's Cup – December - For you water sports fans, King's Cup is a jet-ski competition that is hosted annually near Jomtien beach. There are five days of races where you can watch some of the best competitors in the world go head-to-head for the lucrative prize.

 

6. Wonderfruit – December - The Woodstock of Asia, Wonderfuit is a five-day music and lifestyle festival which includes music, food, culture and performance. The Western style vibe of the festival is unlike anything else in Thailand and draws massive crowds from all over the country every year.
