For a local living experience, Rawai might be the place for you. On the southwest coast of Phuket, it’s relaxed and quiet. 6. Phuket TownPhuket Town is the city centre of Phuket, and forgoes the usual beach living with cafes, restaurants and night markets. You’ll see a different side of the island with Thalang road, lined with Portuguese inspired design and roads. You’ll walk the streets and get a mini-city experience within the island.
